Leaving the main road to Boroughbridge the Ripon Rowel joins the banks of the Ripon Canal at Rhodesfield Lock.
The path utilises the towpath and foot bridges all the way along the canal to where it meets the River Ure
Please look closely at the warning sign before you proceed further along the route!
From Oxclose Lock the walk joins the banks of the River Ure through two fields and crossing two small wooden bridges before turning right and heading away from the river
on joining the road turn immediately left onto a wide gravel track and be greeted with another no parking sign
