Ireland, Beara Way

Report of a six day hiking trail: the Beara way, around the peninsula, on the west coast of Ireland. The never ending colours of the Irish west coast, the Caha and the Slieve Miskish mountains. You can admire as well the views of Bantry Bay, River Kenmare and the Atlantic Ocean.

”The views can be breathtaking.”

A lot of remains from the former residents: stone circles, standing stones and megalithic tombs. The Loughs in the mountains, the colours of some villages (Eyeries), sheep, the gasp, the rugged coast in the far west……...and all that in a weeks walking! Height: till 340m.
