Although this stage is only 15 miles long it does pack a lot into it including the iconic Malham Cove topped with its classic limestone pavement, a dry limestone valley, Malham Tarn, the climb up and over Fountains Fell revealing views of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and the grand finale the steep climb up and over Penyghent itself, before the respite of the Penyghent Cafe in Horton in Ribblesdale for a great mug of tea. You could of course go for a pint instead!
