Leading Outdoor Brands Adopt Pertex Fabrics with New Abrasion-Resistant CS10 Technology for Autumn / Winter 2016

Pertex®, known internationally among outdoor enthusiasts for its extremely lightweight yet highly-durable performance fabrics, announces its latest development – CS10 technology – to be featured among several of the outdoor industry’s premier brands for Autumn 2016.

Pertex fabrics with CS10 technology use yarns with unique diamond shaped filaments, which lock together to provide a very stable construction. These tightly interlocking filaments give the fabrics superb abrasion resistance along with improved water beading properties. 

Pertex fabrics with CS10 technology have more than twice the abrasion resistance of fabrics made with traditional circular filament yarns. While highly durable, these fabrics are exceptionally soft to the touch, extremely downproof, and lend a beautiful sheen.

Internationally-renowned outdoor brands including Berghaus, Montane, Mammut, Peak Performance and Salewa, will offer new performance outdoor apparel using Pertex with CS10 technology available at retail for Autumn / Winter 2016.

Pertex with CS10 technology and the entire Pertex range will be presented at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, USA, 7^th – 10^th Jan 2016, and ISPO Munich, 24^th – 27^th Jan 2016.
