Sub Zero introduce bright new products for 2014/15

Factor 1 Plus

The famous Sub Zero Factor 1 Plus range gets a real boost with the addition of several new details and features. This collection of seamless, high performance baselayers is now available with new zip neck, collar and hood options. But one of the most noticeable things about the new range, however, is the injection of several bright new colours. Aqua, Pink, Purple, Lime Green, Light Blue and Fluorescent Yellow will now sit alongside the existing Navy, Black, White, Red, Yellow and Khaki options, broadening the appeal of these great all-round garments still further.

Factor 1 Plus products (short-sleeved and long-sleeved tops, plus leggings) are designed to maintain a warm and dry micro-climate next to the skin, and can also act as compression aids in muscle recovery.

Sub Zero Factor 1 plus baselayer

One of the most technical thermal underwear baselayer ranges currently available on the market, their excellent wicking and thermal properties make them ideal as a first layer for all outdoor sports. We’re also proud to say that they are also Made in England.

Merino range

A new range of Merino tops will also provide a talking point on the Sub Zero stand. The addition of 30% Polyamide to the 70% Merino wool means these tops offer superior warmth and wonderful next-to-the-skin comfort. Not only that, they are durable, machine washable and also come in a selection of eye-catching colours.

Sub Zero Merino

Sub Zero’s Merino underwear is knitted using only the finest quality wool from New Zealand and is exceptionally soft, odour resistant and naturally anti-bacterial. Merino wool is a hydroscopic fibre too, which means it is capable of absorbing moisture vapour from the environment while at the same time repelling liquids.

Sub Zero general image

One of the first companies in the world to manufacture synthetic fleece jackets, Sub Zero was a pioneer in the use of synthetic baselayers and midlayers at a time when nearly all other brands in the sector retained a strong commitment to cotton. As a result of its forward-thinking approach and its reputation for producing high performance products, the brand soon became – and still is to a degree – synonymous with baselayers. But these days Sub Zero offers outdoor people around the globe so much more than that. These days Sub Zero offers a complete layering solution, so as well as baselayers it provides high quality softshells, down jackets, fleeces and accessories. All Sub Zero ranges are designed to complement each other and the right combinations will provide effective performance in just about any weather conditions.
